This news item is about: Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently announced nearly $3 million in grant funding will be awarded to projects across New York for breast cancer research. These grants encourage innovate research into the causes of breast cancer, as well as prevention, detection or screening, treatment, survivorship and cure, along with the design of new educational strategies to help people reduce specific risk factors associated with developing breast cancer.
