The goal of this project was to create and prototype open educational resources (OER) on algorithmic literacy that would support the professional development of library and archive workers by providing them with training materials and educational resources that they can share with library patrons and students. These materials address gaps in knowledge about how algorithms affect the information pipeline. The following flowcharts were created to accompany the train the trainer OER materials. These flowcharts can be used to explore digital tools and guide the viewer through how to do an in-depth and basic environmental scan, as well as provide some guidance on how to evaluate system goals.
