The Cornell University Library Technical Services Executive Group (TSEG) charged the Cornell Technical Services Marcive Planning Task Force, consisting of Jean Pajerek, Scott Wicks, Greg Lawrence, and Anna Korhonen, to:

"Gather information, make recommendations, and develop an implementation plan regarding the content and procedures for implementing a local service that uses bibliographic records from Marcive, Inc. to support retrospective and ongoing government documents made available in a networked, electronic format."
