Abstract

Ae. albopictus mosquitoes are known to transmit many different disease agents to humans and animals. It is important to know the feeding habits of Ae. albopictus mosquitoes in order to understand health risks to humans and other animals. This infographic summarizes the results of NEVBD-supported research on host animal associations of Ae. albopictus mosquitoes in Virginia, USA. Based on the study by Little et al. 2021. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pntd.0009173.
