Length data represents the mean length of 50 - 100 individuals measured from each replicate.
		
Count data (N): all individuals within a cohort were counted at least twice, the data reported here represents the average of the 2 - 3 counts conducted each month, and therefore may not be a whole number.	
		
Environmental data Sheet		
	All values are monthly averages from either hourly Sonde data or point sampling	
	Values with "Y"  in [SITE]_NYCDEP columns represent data sampling from the New York City Department of Envoronmental Protection	
	Values with "Y"  in [SITE]_HRECOS columns represent data from continuous monitoring from the Hudson River Environmental Conditions Observing System.	
	All other values  were collected for this study.	
	When gaps in environmental data were not able to be filled by data from outside sources, cells were left blank. 
		
Gonad Index		
	Half numbers were used in ranking when portions of the gonad appeared to be at different stages and / or the rank was too close to diffinitively be given the whole number rank	
	Sex was recorded as Male (M) or Female (F) and when sex was indeterminate due to a lack of gametes, cells were left blank.
