HARRISBURG BRIDGE COMPANY 223 MARKET STREET HARRISBURG, PA. Willard S. Young Secretary and Treasurer May 20th, 1902 Mr. Theodore Cooper, Consulting Engineer, 35 Broadway, New York City. Dear Sir:- On account of the damage to our old wooden bridges and piers at this point, we have decided to erect an open steel highway bridge on the site of the old. Our idea is not to have a specially designed structure, but one of comfortable width with a trolley line in prospect. We will need a consulting engineer, and we desire to know your terms for services in this line. It is probable that new piers and abutments will be necessary. Hoping for a prompt reply, we remain Yours truly, Henry McCormick, Jr., President.
