Two Files: biochar_inoc_storage_trial.csv: comma-separated value file with dataset characterizing biochars (pyrolyzed plant biomass) used as inoculant carriers in storage experiments, with chemical and physical characteristics of the different biochars and the abundance of Rhizobium tropici bacteria (colony-forming units per gram, dry basis) at one month, three months, and six months of storage. biochar_inoc_drying_trial.csv: comma-separated value file with dataset on unmodified and clay-amended biochars with added montmorillonite clay, used in a drydown trial with drying over ten days (240 h) and abundance (survival) of Rhizobium tropici bacteria (colony-forming units per gram, dry basis) at six time points (1 h, 4.5 h, 8h, 30 h, 80 h, 240 h).
