Mr. Hollis has been active for many years in both the public and private sector, serving in senior management positions in a number of organizations including the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Among his outside activities, he served as president of a national professional association that lobbied the federal government on health policy issues and served on a number of advisory groups on a state, federal, and international level. For almost a decade he was president of a private firm that developed and managed specialty outpatient clinics and contract programs for hospitals in three states. Most recently, he has been a partner in an investment banking firm that specializes in health related and other professional services transactions. His work in this area has involved consulting and M&A advisory work in 20 states and Canada over a number of years, closing transactions with private equity funds, and domestic or international public and privately held companies.  He continues to be active in health and professional services investment banking allowing Sloan to have an additional connection to the field.
