Biography

Biographical Statement
Ms. Calori has been active for many years in health care and human services. She has held positions at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado; Sonoma Valley Hospital in Sonoma, California; and Cortland Memorial Hospital. She is known for her role in innovative programs such as; the Crisis Hostel Project, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, and the New York State Peer Specialist Program. In addition to her role as Associate Director of the Sloan Program, she remains active with the Recovery Community Support Program of the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment. She is best known for her expertise in developing community based peer recovery support programs for individuals recovering from behavioral healthcare issues. She lectures nationally on the ethics of peer services and accreditation standards for recovery organizations.
