Biography

Biographical Statement
Patricia Thonney has received state and national awards for her work in curriculum development since joining the faculty in 1977. She retired October 1, 2009 but is completing work on an evaluation instrument and statewide training for Cooking Up Fun! Vary Your Veggies. This integrated nutrition, youth development program helps youth, ages 9 to 15, gain independent food skills. Emphasis is on reaching youth from low income families in after school settings.
