Thomas Endres is an Extension Associate III with the Family Life Development Center.  Mr. Endres conducts the train-the-trainer program in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention offered through the Residential Child Care Project.  Mr. Endres offers both the week long initial training and the updates to residential child care staff, supervisors, clinicians and teachers.  Mr. Endres also provides technical assistance to residential child caring agencies and schools across New York state and nationwide.

Biographical Statement
Thomas J. Endres is an Extension Associate III with the Family Life Development Center.  As an Extension Associate, Mr. Endres conducts the train-the-trainer program in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention offered through the Residential Child Care Project.  Mr. Endres offers both the five day initial training and the follow-up two day updates to residential child care staff, supervisors, clinicians and teachers.  Mr. Endres also provides technical assistance to residential child caring agencies across the state of New York.  Mr. Endres received his M.A. in Human Service Education from the Ohio State University in 1985.  He also received his B.S.S.W. from Ohio State University in 1980.  Mr. Endres has done extensive work in the field of residential child care.  He has thirty years experience which included positions as a direct care provider, clinician and administrator.  Mr. Endres served as an administrator of a group care project from 1997-2001, overseeing the operations of multiple sites.  Mr. Endres has dedicated his work in residential child care to finding better ways in helping children to grow into mature adults.
