From the Editors

Summer is over in the Northern hemisphere, and fall is in the air for your East-coast editors. That means job application season for many places - if you have a position that might be of interest to our readership (over 650 at last count!), please send it along to us. Meanwhile, here is your regularly scheduled shot of FRB news and updates.

From the Astronomer's Telegram
  • FRB 121102 (or 20121102A, to be precise) is back, with detections at FAST consistent with the proposed periodicity of detectability windows. Intriguingly, the observed dispersion measure has dropped by ~10 pc/cc, a significant 2% reduction (ATel 15619).
